Avaaz

Avaaz.org es un movimiento global por Internet con una simple misión democrática: cerrar la brecha entre el mundo que tenemos y el mundo que la mayoría de la gente desea. En todo el mundo la mayoría de la gente quiere más protección del medio ambiente, más respeto por los derechos humanos e iniciativas coordinadas para terminar con la pobreza, la corrupción y las guerras. La palabra "Avaaz" significa "Voz" en diversos idiomas de Asia, Oriente Medio y Europea del Este.


Centro de Estudios de Cooperación al Desarrollo (CECOD)

El CECOD se crea en el año 2002 con el objetivo de prestar un servicio a los profesionales de la cooperación al desarrollo en España, a través de la promoción de espacios de formación de calidad y una investigación académica orientada a la práctica. Trabaja en las siguientes áreas: evaluación y eficacia de la ayuda, fortalecimiento institucional, política de desarrollo de la UE y responsabilidad social corporativa.


Center for Global Development
An independent, nonprofit policy research organization that is dedicated to reducing global poverty and inequality and to making globalization work for the poor. Through a combination of research and strategic outreach, the Center actively engages policymakers and the public to influence the policies of the United States, other rich countries, and such institutions as the World Bank, the IMF, and the World Trade Organization to improve the economic and social development prospects in poor countries.

Global Witness investigates and campaigns to prevent natural resource-related conflict and corruption.


International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IDEA)
An intergovernmental organization that supports democratic institutions and processes worldwide. International IDEA acts as a catalyst for democracy building by providing knowledge resources, expertise and a platform for debate on democracy issues.

 

Konrad Adenauer Foundation

Established in 1955 as “Society for Christian-Democratic Civic Education”, the Foundation took on the name of the first Federal Chancellor in 1964. At home as well as abroad, our civic education programs aim at promoting freedom and liberty, peace, and justice. We focus on consolidating democracy, on the unification of Europe and the strengthening of transatlantic relations, as well as on development cooperation.


National Endowment for democracy (NED)

The National Endowment for Democracy (NED) is a private, nonprofit foundation dedicated to the growth and strengthening of democratic institutions around the world. Each year, with funding from the US Congress, NED supports more than 1,000 projects of non-governmental groups abroad who are working for democratic goals in more than 90 countries.

 

Open Society Foundations

The Open Society Foundations work to build vibrant and tolerant democracies whose governments are accountable to their citizens. To achieve this mission, the Foundations seek to shape public policies that assure greater fairness in political, legal, and economic systems and safeguard fundamental rights. On a local level, the Open Society Foundations implement a range of initiatives to advance justice, education, public health, and independent media. At the same time, we build alliances across borders and continents on issues such as corruption and freedom of information.


Overseas Development Institute (ODI)

ODI is Britain's leading independent think tank on international development and humanitarian issues. Their mission is to inspire and inform policy and practice which lead to the reduction of poverty, the alleviation of suffering and the achievement of sustainable livelihoods in developing countries. They do this by locking together high quality applied research, practical policy advice, and policy-focused dissemination and debate.


Transparency International (TI)
Transparency International is a global network including more than 90 locally established national chapters and chapters-in-formation. They bring together relevant players from government, civil society, business and the media to promote transparency in elections, in public administration, in procurement and in business. TI’s global network of chapters and contacts also use advocacy campaigns to lobby governments to implement anti-corruption reforms.
